Call for speakers

Got a story worth telling?

We're looking for presenters who know their stuff and aren't afraid to bring the magic.

You might be our kind of speaker if…

  • You're confident and comfortable in front of a room
  • You teach clinical skills therapists can use Monday
  • You'd love to sprinkle some park-inspired magic into your session

Meet your hosts

Hi, we're Kayla & Sam.

Two neurodivergent therapists with tattoos, bright hair, and zero chill about park magic. We got sick of big trainings with the same speakers on repeat, and hosts who made people feel like a burden for needing a break. So we built the training we always wanted to go to.

Kayla Schubert Wirth

she/her · MSW, LCSW · EMDRIA Approved Consultant & Trainer

I'm Kayla, an AuDHD therapist who has burned out more times than I'd like to admit. Seven years in community mental health, a group practice, and a very intentional return to solo.

Now I teach EMDR, co-host Not Your Supervisor's Training, and build the trainings I always wished existed. The kind you don't have to recover from.

Sam Willi

LPCC · Supervisor · Group Practice Owner

From community mental health to group practice owner. Sam built CLE Counseling & Wellness Center, an accessible, insurance-based group practice, then founded Once Upon a Practice to help therapists build practices that actually last.

Supervisor, business coach, and living proof that practice support can be practical without being boring.
